The lighthouse at Formentor, Mallorca

The background shows sidewalk tiles - "rajoles" - that pave the sidewalks throughout Barcelona. They were designed by architect Puig i Cadafalch for the entryway of a home. Since 1915, they have been used by the city to pave sidewalks, and have become emblematic of the city. One of the city's most famous chocolatiers, Enric Rovira, produces chocolate bars in the shape and design of these tiles.

Concilio - September 2011

Our monthly zone leader council was held on 2 September 2011 at the mission home. As always, it was a wonderful experience to meet and counsel together with these great young priesthood leaders!

Getting ready... the Ayudantes set a beautiful table!

We were not just fed spiritually, but physically!

  1. Hi Hinckleys,
We're so thrilled that our neice Sister Serenity Eyre will be joining you in November! You'll love her! She's amazing!

Once we knew that we were suddenly surrounded by Hinckleys: We connected on Holly's blog, Spencer was in the celestial room on the day Serenity got her endowments, Charity went to lunch with Lizzie in New York and last weekend we saw someone in Boston who adores Ada and told us that Joseph and his wife just had their new baby. We LOVE being surounded by Hinckleys!

Looks as though you and those lucky missionaries not only surviving but thriving. There's nothing like the mission to light up your life!
    Love, The Eyres
