The lighthouse at Formentor, Mallorca

The background shows sidewalk tiles - "rajoles" - that pave the sidewalks throughout Barcelona. They were designed by architect Puig i Cadafalch for the entryway of a home. Since 1915, they have been used by the city to pave sidewalks, and have become emblematic of the city. One of the city's most famous chocolatiers, Enric Rovira, produces chocolate bars in the shape and design of these tiles.

Farewell to Elche

Today we held our final zone conference with the Elche Zone. It was a wonderful meeting with a great outpouring of the Spirit and many emotions. We will miss these wonderful Elders and Hermanas but know that they will add much to the Spain Malaga Mission.

Not only will we miss these wonderful missionaries, but we will miss the beautiful grounds surrounding the Elche Stake Center. This last visit to Elche was a memorable morning!

  1. Crazy, I can't believe all those missionaries are moving to the Malaga mission. Can't wait to hear details. Super love.
