The lighthouse at Formentor, Mallorca

The background shows sidewalk tiles - "rajoles" - that pave the sidewalks throughout Barcelona. They were designed by architect Puig i Cadafalch for the entryway of a home. Since 1915, they have been used by the city to pave sidewalks, and have become emblematic of the city. One of the city's most famous chocolatiers, Enric Rovira, produces chocolate bars in the shape and design of these tiles.

January Zone Conferences

This past week we finished the January round of zone conferences. It has been a while since we have had a "traditional" zone conference - in November we had Elder Kopischke at the conferences, and in December we did special Christmas conferences. We met with Palma, Barcelona and Hospitalet a week ago, and Elche and Valencia this week.

  4. Unfortunately we were without a working camera at the Barcelona Zone Conference - but the Ayudantes took photos, and we will get some copies posted!
