The lighthouse at Formentor, Mallorca

The background shows sidewalk tiles - "rajoles" - that pave the sidewalks throughout Barcelona. They were designed by architect Puig i Cadafalch for the entryway of a home. Since 1915, they have been used by the city to pave sidewalks, and have become emblematic of the city. One of the city's most famous chocolatiers, Enric Rovira, produces chocolate bars in the shape and design of these tiles.

And the walls come tumbling down...

With our office couple, the Lunds, just weeks away from returning home, we have some remodeling that needs to be done in the office in order to have an office configuration that complies with Church standards (no computers in enclosed offices). So today a wall in the office is coming down.

    So the unspoken joke of the forgotten elder in the office is finally over. That is a good thing. Still praying and hoping for more miracles in the tierra santa.
