The lighthouse at Formentor, Mallorca

The background shows sidewalk tiles - "rajoles" - that pave the sidewalks throughout Barcelona. They were designed by architect Puig i Cadafalch for the entryway of a home. Since 1915, they have been used by the city to pave sidewalks, and have become emblematic of the city. One of the city's most famous chocolatiers, Enric Rovira, produces chocolate bars in the shape and design of these tiles.

Adeu

It was an interesting transfer week - four wonderful missionaries went home and no one arrived!

On Tuesday, many of the transfering missionaries passed through Estació Sants in Barcelona where they met their new companion and headed off to their new area.

Meeting up at Sants
In the evening we met with the returning missionaries, then went together to Portal D´Angel for the traditional singing of hymns, contacting in the street, and saying farewells.

Elders Monks, Crofts, Hansen and Hna. Roerig in the Metro station on their last night...
Adeu to four wonderful missionaries who are going on to even bigger and better things!
